City Life - Shannon Gallatin

Returning to my childhood home, nearly everything is different. Streets are not as long, buildings are not as tall, schools are not as intimidating...and several things have been replaced, abandoned, or improved. No person is the same as I left them and the problems of the past have dissipated over the years. Fleeting are the days, but the memories made have lasted my lifetime. I pray the memories I'm making in other people's lives, the words I say today, the work of my hands....when revisited long after I'm gone, make someone smile, make them think about my God, make them thankful for heavens sake. That would be the best kind of legacy.
